Newton Primary School is in the Wallacetown area of Ayr facing some of the most problematic social issues.

 

The school children were asked, ‘what would make your area a better place to live in?’

 

It brought out weird and wonderful idea. In a nutshell, many of the ideas were a wish for a safe place to live and play. 

 

The work we did with these children led to us facilitating a weekly 'Culture Group', from taking them to exhibitions and Opera, to parliament.
