The site was one of Ayr's premier Coffee House's until it was a converted in 1975, by architect Patrick Lorimer into what architectural historian Rob Close described as a ‘civilised shopping complex’.

 

The disuse, of this once fine complex, gave us a temporary opportunity to explore our concept of experiential arts and cultural tourism.
