Our art space is at 22 Sandgate, we have given it the name DOUGH as it echo's the ethos of artists do[ugh]ing it for themselves.

It is part of our campaign to address the problem of the catastrophic impact empty shops have on social wellbeing, loss of services, jobs and economy.

Our aim is use this space as a model for how our creative people can re-imagine how we use vacant retail shops,  as a vibrant, interconnected, socially engaged market place.

We seek to encourage our creative graduates to make, show and interact with others and have a foothold in their native county, bringing the city to the town.
